About the Exhibition
Into My Garden Come invites visitors into the intimate, multifaceted experiences of women — their strength, their struggles, their vulnerability, and their creativity. Through immersive installations and performative elements, artist Maria Salouvardou opens a space where personal stories, inner battles, and fragile moments of hope are given form and voice.
This exhibition is not only a reflection of the individual but also a shared human experience — breaking down barriers and illuminating emotions that connect us all, regardless of background or circumstance.
Maria's artistic practice centres on women: their untold stories, their resilience, and the voices often silenced by society. Her latest works confront themes ranging from gender inequality to the search for freedom and self-expression. Into My Garden Come transforms these narratives into a powerful journey of empathy and recognition.
While the focus remains on the lived experiences of women, the exhibition also reflects Maria’s ecological awareness. Many of the artworks are created from recycled and sustainable materials, showing how artistic expression can carry both personal and environmental responsibility.
With multimedia installations, immersive storytelling, and interactive formats, Into My Garden Come is an invitation to feel, reflect, and engage in dialogue. It is art as a catalyst for social change — sensitive, powerful, and deeply human.
